2010 Trips

   CATALINA ISLAND   -   Catalina Island Sail Trip & JAZZ Festival   :  October 14-17  -- View Flyer
Two 3-cabin boats reserved with 10 persons confirmed as of August. We will be departing from Marina Sailing in Long Beach on Thursday morning, so you need to arrive at the marina on Wednesday evening. We need to arrive in Catalina by mid-day 10/14 to get a mooring in Avalon Harbor. Jazz performers scheduled include Mindi Abair, Gentlemen of the Night, and Earl Klugh. - $400 per person + mooring fees. -- Contact Ralph V to register, AZVAT@aol.com.
 
   BVIs   -   British Virgin Islands Sailing   :  November 14-20 
Plan is to charter a 39-ft Beneteau out of Tortola for a week of sailing the BVIs. Please contact Ron Carlson at captron1492@cox.net to express your interest in this trip. - View More Details
 
   NANTUCKET   -   Newport (R.I.) to Nantucket Sail Trip   :  Summer 2011  - Details TBA
Premier East Coast sailing area with with a 12-meter fleet and loads of whaling and fishing history. If we can get enough registrants to charter our own boat, we may be able to organize a flotilla with Jim Wolfe's sailing club from Texas and his 11+ interested members. -- Five people interested as of August, contact Ralph V at azvat@aol.co to express interest.
 
   GRENADINES   -   Carribean Sail Trip   :  November 4-14, 2011  - Details TBA
7 Days in Paradise, including white sand beaches, rain forests, waterfalls, and a volcano. Some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. Registrations now being accepted, 11 persons listed to attend as of August 2010. Cost is $1900, which can be paid at $125 per month. Contact Ruth LeBlonde, RKL1@cox.net.
