While ASA’s primary business is sail education, a by-product of teaching sailing to almost half a million people is the creation of a very large community of people who love being on the water. As sailors, that love of the water brings more responsibility to us to protect the waters we enjoy, whether it is an ocean, a lake or a river. It is our duty to clean up our waters and keep them clean and it’s going to take all of us to get this accomplished. There are a number of great organizations that do just that.
