The North Texas Sailing School has been in continuous service since its founding in 1975. We are located on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard in Heath, Texas. We utilize 12 boats in the service of sailing instruction and employ 10 certified sailing instructors on our staff. We are number one in course content and structure and place a strong emphasis on boat handling skills. The curriculum is a rich blend of classroom instruction, technical skill, confidence building and plain old common sense.

We love sailing and we love teaching sailing. We look at teaching as a lifelong learning process and are dedicated to growing and serving the sport of sailing. We are committed to introducing sailing to new enthusiasts including our youth and place a strong emphasis on good seamanship. Continual mentoring of our students sets us all up for success. We also provide existing sailors with as many resources as possible and provide an on-line community to find information about sailing activities.
