Eascape Sailing School located on China’s most eastern island — Dongji island. The name Eascape illustrates its geographical location – east cape of mainland China；it also shows that it is a right place for relax, good choice for escape. The city of Zhoushan, where ESS (Eascape Sailing School) belongs to, governing about 1,490 islands, is a major tourist destination in China, and Boeing’s first overseas factory is also located here. Dongji island, where ESS is located in, has four distinct seasons and winds all year round ，it is sitting on the midpoint of China’s coastline. With oil depots and sufficient supply of living and production facilities ,it is an important supply point for sailing boats and a place that can’t be bypass.

ESS was founded in 2018 by Frank Zhang and his wife Shelly Wang, both of them used to study in the United States. Next to ESS is the couple’s Dongji International Youth Hostel and Hearts bar, which not only meet the needs of teaching, but also satisfy the various needs of accommodation and entertainment. The major types of boats currently used in the school are Wasa 37, Azuree33 and Bavaria 41. The head coach Frank Zhang has participated in many domestic and international sailing regatta at various levels.
