Horizon Yachting is a fully-fledged yachting company located in Cyprus, Mediterranean. ASA sailing instruction is at the centre of our activities, offering a wide range of courses from basic to advanced. Horizon Yachting is one of only few places in the region to take your ASA sailing education and probably the first one in Europe to offer advanced courses by the ASA.
Our vision at horizon yachting is to make learning to sail a safe and enjoyable activity available to everyone. We train sailors to a set of internationally recognized standards as defined by the American Sailing Association. Furthermore, at Horizon Yachting we promote the continuing education and development of sailors following qualification and we make yachting accessible to the average person, by means of flotilla cruising, offshore sailing trips to neighboring countries and ingenious boat share syndicates.

Location: We are located in Cyprus, East Mediterranean. Our boats are based in Larnaca marina and our main office in the Cyprus capital Nicosia. Practical tuition is usually undertaken out of Larnaca marina, while theory classes are offered from our main office as well as in the marina premises. Upon request, we can arrange to run our courses from any other marina in the area.
Cyprus offers ideal conditions to learn sailing. There is sunshine over 300 days a year and from spring through autumn it very rarely rains. The ambient temperature is about 25-35C and the prevailing wind in the summer months is from the SW force 3-5. Considering the picturesque scenery, various blue flag beaches all over the island, long and rich history, culture and cuisine, extensive tourist infrastructure as well as some world-class water-sports and scuba diving, Cyprus is the ideal environment to take you sailing classes.
