Is there a better way to start your sailing adventure than doing so while exploring the untouched islands of Sea of Cortez?

At Sea of Cortez Sailing Academy we are passionate about sailing and it is our lifestyle. We are here to help you achieve your sailing dreams while showing you our beautiful backyard, with gorgeous deserted islands making contrast with pristine waters, home to incredible and diverse marine life, having Jacques Cousteau calling this area “the world’s aquarium”. We are proud guardians of our home and want our students to get on board with our nature conservation and leave no trace philosophy as we are sure you will fall in love with Baja as much as us.

You will have the pleasure of learning with our lead Captain Abraham Levy, professional explorer, adventurer and full time captain. He is the first man to complete the 11,000 km of Mexican shoreline solo on a kayak and the first man to cross the Atlantic Ocean from Spain to Mexico solo and unassisted on a rowing boat. He is also a certified ASA instructor with a lot of teaching experience and deep ocean knowledge, which will teach you how to speak what he calls “windish”, the language of the wind while using all of your senses.

Our sailing courses are taught on a 6 day all-inclusive live onboard adventure for you to make the most out of it and come back with a well rounded sailing experience.

We are incredibly well connected to La Paz and Los Cabos international airports making your arrival easier and worth planning a few extra days to explore some of the other amazing experiences Baja has to offer. We are happy to help you plan complementary activities such as diving, swimming with whale sharks and more, just let us know what you need!

Book with us your ASA courses and we not only promise you the best sunsets, sunny skies and views but also unmatched memories and the best sailing learning experience in Mexico. The only risk is you won’t want to come back to land!
